What is ILLiad?
Answer
ILLiad is a platform that enables Allegheny students, faculty and staff to place orders for books, journal articles and other materials that Allegheny does not have immediately available. Often, if you are looking for a journal article, you will find a link to place an "interlibrary loan" request -- that means library staff will borrow what you need from another library.
The first time you use ILLiad, you need to set up an account. Use your Allegheny email user name and password and answer a few quick questions. After that you can use ILLiad to place requests and to track the progress in filling your requests.
