Q. I was wondering if it's possible to read the ebrary ebooks on a ereader such as a nook or kindle (not on the computer)? Thanks!

None of our currently-available ebooks will work on devices like the Kindle or Nook.  They are delivered page by page through the web, not as whole files.

Some book chapters can be printed to a PDF, and thus transposed into a file you can read from a computer while you are not connected to the web.  For instance, Springer books can do this, but not ebrary books.

This all has to do with the terms of the licenses more than the technology.
