How do I access my electronic bookshelf directly?
I've been going to the book in Allecat, selecting it and then logging on to ebrary. Is that how it's done? Can there be a link to ebrary in the "Get It" section on the library's homepage?

You can go to eBrary directly: http://site.ebrary.com/lib/allegheny/search.action to search books by title, author, or keyword.
You don't have to sign in if you are on campus.
If you want to use the bookshelf functions to get to your preferred titles quickly, you need to use the "Sign In" option in the upper right of the screen. Use your Allegheny email user id and password. Once you are signed in you can access and build your bookshelf, annotate books, etc.
